Journey After-School is a daily program during the school year designed for 4th–8th graders that provides students with a solid foundation of faith, character, academics, life skills, and activities that launch them on a path for faithful service to God and man. Students are consistently reminded of the unconditional love of God and to build strong character through Bible-based curriculum. Contact info@journeyocc.org for questions.
Frequently Asked Questions
What if my student needs to leave early?
If your student needs to be picked up prior to 5:30pm you’ll need to let a staff member know so that we can plan accordingly.
What snacks will my student receive?
A nutritious snack will be offered to your student each day. This snack may include fruit (like apples, bananas, or grapes) whole grain crackers, vegetables (like carrots, celery, or broccoli) peanut butter and jelly, or other healthy options. Drinks may include milk, juice, or water.
How do I pay?
Payments can be made in person via cash or check or online using the registration email you received when you signed up (payment reminders with a payment link will be sent monthly to your email)
How often am I expected to pay?
We recommend payments be made at minimum every month. If this does not work for your family, contact info@journeyocc.org to discuss other options (payment reminders with a payment link will be sent monthly to your email).
What will my student be learning?
At Journey, we value character traits such as respect, responsibility, integrity, diligence, honor, self-sacrifice, and patience. We want your student to look into God’s word to see Biblical examples of these traits so that we can learn and grow from their experiences.
